| Education: | Dartmouth College 2011 graduate with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Theater. |
| Experience: | I have 6 years of tutoring experience in Math and Arabic, as well as training as a high school Math teacher through the Dartmouth College Teacher Education Program (which included 2 separate student teacher internships in high schools and various theory-based classes). I have also been employed by both the Naval Academy and Dartmouth College Language Departments as an Assistant Teacher in Arabic. I love Math and languages, and I love teaching. One of my personal goals in life is to do my part in making people more comfortable with Math so that they can become more informed adults capable of abstract thinking. Tutoring is one of my favorite ways to do this because you can tailor each lesson specifically to the needs, quirks, and interests of the student. |
| Hobbies: | First and foremost, I am a theater junkie. I have acted, written plays, directed, improv-ed, you name it! I am also a huge nerd (which is where the math comes in), so stick me in a discussion about abstract ideas any day. In short, I believe in developing both sides of your brain: the artistic, creative side, and the structured, analytical side. |
