I am a highly skilled tutor with an extensive portfolio of experience in History, Language, and Writing specialties. I am currently employed as a History teacher, with a specialized focus on Ancient History, at the U.S. Naval Academy. While earning my Ph.D. at the University of Pennsylvania, I worked at Oberlin College in their Classics department. I've also worked as a teacher of the Latin and Greek language, and Ancient History and Civilization to middle and high school students. The research studies I've conducted have led me to archaeological work in Greece, Turkey, Ukraine, and Italy. I also enjoyed performing underwater surveys in Cyprus.My prior and current work history makes me the ideal tutor in many subject areas, including Writing, Reading, Essay Editing, Latin 1-4, Grammar and Mechanics, Classical Languages, English, Greek, Social Studies, and Ancient and Medieval Heritage.
