Experience
I started as a Latin and Greek teacher in a private K-12 school, before going to graduate school to earn 2 MAs and a PhD in Classical Studies and Ancient history. I have taught all levels of Latin and Greek, as well as many courses in Ancient History and Classical Civilization. I am currently a professor in the history department at the US Naval Academy, where I am teaching classes on World History and the rise of democracy in Ancient Athens.
